I didn't turn Eilonwy (my big Mac) on for the past two days, but I kept busy.

Thursday I woke up at 3:00 am and knew I couldn't sleep, so I finished reading the Spice and Wolf novel in bed. Got up, did odds and ends like tune the guitars, cat napped, read Boogiepop at Dawn. Finished the day by playing Star Ocean: till the end of time* for a while, then watched Whisper of the Heart, one of my all time favorites.

Friday morning I played Gurumin to see the Christmas decorations and wear the Santa suit around town. Made it through another Grotto dungeon, which gave me enough junk to upgrade the nightcap to level 4, and then I was able to defeat Mosby and obtain a life crystal to bring my HP up to 70. So, because of my hands I still can't play this game often, but Parin is now well enough equipped to have a chance at making further progress at the 'hard' difficulty level. That made me happy, because I really like this game.

Began reading Be With You, then spent several hours futzing with Copic markers and coloring new year's cards for the two people who sent me cards. (Under the cut is my drawing table after I finished.) I changed the color scheme to better match how the pages colored in Manga Studio look when printed, and I adopted the E00/R11/R02 flesh tones that CLAMP use in the how-to section of CLAMP South Side.

I made my veggie/miso/tofu crock-pot thing. Didn't play any Star Ocean because I don't want to wreck my hands with too much gaming in one day. Listened to music (HMC), watched most of Kotoko's 2004 'White Christmas' Tokyo concert, watched a bit of Those Who Hunt Elves (the box is red and green and there are elves, so it's an Xmas theme, right?) and finished up by watching the live-action Boogiepop and others movie.

This morning I cut, folded and addressed cards. Mailed the two that go to Florida. I'm playing around with an idea for a story.

* I'm only a little way into SO:tteot but it's looking good, with an engaging story and characters that are already developing depth. Also unlike Dragon Quest VIII there are frequent save points, even on the world map. Happy about this, too.
