The most important event of the millennium to date is of course the announcement just days ago that there is to be a new Sailor Moon anime. Few details are yet known, but hopes are high, as no one would dare do a poor adaptation of Sailor Moon for fear of incurring the wrath of hundreds of millions of loyal fans. (We all hope the producers listen to Takeuchi-sensei this time.)
Yesterday's high of 103 F (39.4 C) is the all-time high since records began in Lansing. My theory is that this high was caused in part by the energy released in joyous celebration by local Sailor Moon fans. (Well, me and Risa and Resu, anyway.)
